What is the course about?
This exciting course is the only one of its kind in London – no other degree course specifically prepares personal trainers to work in the fitness industry. The combination of practical and theoretical studies provides specialist knowledge and skills that will enable you to develop a private client base. There is a shortfall in qualified and experienced fitness instructors, and this qualification will enhance your employability within the fitness industry.
After the first year of study, you will be eligible for Level 3 REPS Personal Trainer from the Register of Exercise Professionals.

What do I need to get on the course?
160 UCAS points from:
- 2 A Levels at Grade C, including Science, or equivalent
As well as:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade C including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
- IELTS 5.5 (with at least 5.0 in each component,) or equivalent
What can I do after the course?
Successful students can progress to the third year of BSc (Hons) Sports Science at London Metropolitan University.
How much does it cost?
The Personal Training and Fitness Consultancy FdSc course costs £6,500 per year. You will be required to pay a deposit of £3,000 before you enrol, and complete your payment when you enrol. The fee includes your tuition but does not include any accommodation, living or travel expenses.
