What is the course about?
The BTEC Diploma in Music Technology course is an intensive course for anyone who wants to enter the sound industries, with a focus on using world-renowned Digidesign and Solid State Logic recording and mixing technology.
On the BTEC Diploma in Music Technology course you will develop your ability to operate ProTools and Logic Studio software in a professional recording environment, and will use your new skills in project work for music mixing, sound to picture, and sound for computer games applications.
Graduates of the programme have continued on to produce hit records in the UK, and sound for picture-work in the USA and Bollywood.
What do I need to get on the course?
- To be aged 18 on the first day of the course
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, plus or including Music/Music Technology, or equivalent
- IELTS 6 (with at least 5.5 in each component,) or equivalent
How much does it cost?
The BTEC Diploma in Music course costs £6,500 per year. You will be required to pay a deposit of £3,000 before you enrol, and complete your payment after you have enrolled. The fee includes your tuition, but does not include any accommodation, living or travel expenses.
