What is the course about?
The Health and Social Care (Health Science) BTEC Extended Diploma course explores health science theory and practice, giving you the sound understanding you need to progress to a range of undergraduate degrees, from nursing and social work to pharmacology to radiology.
As well as studying topics such as biology, psychology and information technology, you will also take part in a variety of work placements, giving you valuable experience of the industry and the roles within it.
What do I need to get on the course?
- To be aged 16-18 on the first day of the course
- 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Science and Mathematics, or equivalent
- IELTS 5.5 (with at least 5.0 in each component,) or equivalent
How much does it cost?
The Health and Social Care (Health Science) BTEC Extended Diploma coursecosts £6,500 per year. You will be required to pay a deposit of £3,000 before you enrol, and complete your payment after you have enrolled. The fee includes your tuition, but does not include any accommodation, living or travel expenses.
