What is the course about?
This Art and Design (Design) BTEC Foundation Diploma course teaches you to be an independent thinker and designer, in preparation for an undergraduate degree.
On the Art and Design (Design) BTEC Foundation Diploma course you will develop design skills and techniques using a broad range of materials and processes, working in both 2D and 3D. Areas include textiles and fashion, drawing, fashion illustration and colour work.
You will work in specialist studio spaces and workshops to develop your own ideas and a portfolio of work.
What do I need to get on the course?
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or 1 A Level and 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent
- IELTS 5.5 (with at least 5.0 in each component,) or equivalent
- A satisfactory portfolio of work
How much does it cost?
The Art and Design (Design) BTEC Foundation Diploma course costs £6,500 per year. You will be required to pay a deposit of £3,000 before you enrol, and complete your payment after you have enrolled. The fee includes your tuition, but does not include any accommodation, living or travel expenses.
